Due to extreme weather conditions, classes will be cancelled from 5 p.m. Tuesday until Friday, according to an NIU weather update.

Due to the extreme cold, the Huskie Bus Line has shut down because of mechanical issues, according to a NIU announcement. All classes on the main NIU campus in DeKalb are cancelled for Thursday, Jan. 31. Classes will resume regularly on Friday, Feb. 1.

The Huskie Bus Line will be shutdown until 7 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1. The Huskie Safe Line will resume services at 11 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31 as well.

The university closed Monday and reopened for classes until 5 p.m. Tuesday, and now will reopen on Friday.
