Happy National Guacamole Day!
November 14, 2018
Before you break out the turkey and cranberry sauce, take time to celebrate an equally delicious holiday: National Spicy Guacamole Day!
Nov. 14, isn’t just a celebration of your favorite avocado dip- it’s focused on the tingly, burning sensation of spice.
Long before the avocado became the patron saint of millennial food culture, it was a part of the diet of Mexican tribes dating back 10,000 years. Avocados spread to the Americas and Europe through Spanish conquest, and became popular on salads in the 1950s America.
Spice up today with creamy green goodness by making your own recipe for guacamole.
