“Fifty Shades Freed” defies expectations and brings sensuality and seduction, as well as an intricate drama-filled plot, into the third film of this intense sex trilogy.

Anastasia (Ana) Steele, played by Dakota Johnson, becomes Anastasia Grey in a much anticipated wedding, after a dramatic proposal in “Fifty Shades Darker.” The movie brings an elegance to the wedding, providing a successful contrast to the sensual scenes.

Ana is given a daintiness throughout the movie by Johnson’s portrayal of her with a style that adds to her beauty, making her an even better match for the attractive Christian Grey played by Jamie Dornan.

The couple begins married life just like any other couple would, as they have mundane issues to sort out. However, as promised in the trailer, Jack Hyde, played by Eric Johnson, returns in his stalker persona. He adds a dangerous and thrilling element to the movie that is unexpected and fulfilling.

Dornan gives Grey his sexy dominatrix side, as well as delivering a soft side. Dornan portrays his character excellently and shows the depths of Grey’s personality, demonstrating more than just a chiseled exterior.

As the relationship between Ana and Grey evolves, the connection between the two becomes something to admire. Their unconventional love story started as a sex agreement but is taken to new depths.

As opposed to the second installment, “Fifty Shades Darker,” which twisted the BDSM subculture into nasty abuse, this third installment redeems itself by finally portraying the characters and sexual experimentation in a respectful and playful way.

The sensual and romantic plot is not the only thing that “Fifty Shades Freed” has to offer. The series has been building an intense plot line, as Hyde puts Ana in many dangerous situations throughout the movie and leaves Grey and Ana on their toes, as well as the audience. This thrilling side plot adds a different and captivating element from the sex and romance to make the movie even more entertaining.

As with all the other “Fifty Shades” movies, “Freed” delivers the kinky and sensual “red room” and intense sex scenes that are something of fantasies. The scenes mesh together with romance and sensuality to deliver a fantastically sexy atmosphere.
