DeKALB | DeKalb Police Department officials are investigating an off-campus armed robbery that took place in a parking lot at 1110 Varsity Blvd.

Two victims alleged that a man approached the window of their vehicle as they were sitting in the parking lot of an apartment complex and brandished a weapon at about 9:15 p.m. Tuesday.

After demanding cash, the suspect fled on foot eastbound toward Annie Glidden Road. No one sustained injuries because of the incident.

The suspect is described as a dark-skinned male about 5 feet 6 inches tall with facial hair wearing a dark-colored jacket and dark-colored pants.
