DeKALB | DeKalb Police Department officials are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at about 10:20 p.m. Monday near 919 Ridge Drive.

One of the two suspects hit the victim over the head with an unknown object, after which they stole personal property from the victim and fled on foot southbound. The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.

One suspect was described as a dark-skinned male about 6 feet tall with short hair wearing a light blue T-shirt and mask. The other was described as a dark-skinned male wearing a mask and a dark, hooded sweatshirt.

DeKalb Police officials were not immediately available for comment.
