Police arrest three in drug bust

DeKALB | A search of two DeKalb homes resulted in three arrests and the seizure of several drugs, including methamphetamine, cocaine and heroin, according to a March 22 DeKalb Police Department press release.
DeKalb police arrested Katie Macadam, 29, of DeKalb; Brian Brovelli, 40, of DeKalb; and Gerald Cook, 36, of DeKalb, after obtaining search warrants for 131 S. Seventh St. and 131 1/2 S. Seventh St. Macadam and Brovelli face several possession charges, while Cook faces charges of possession and possession with intent to deliver, according to the release.
Police officials seized 30.5 grams of cocaine, 13.5 grams of methamphetamine, 321 hits of LSD, 5.5 grams of liquid LSD, 3.8 grams of heroin, hydrocodone, oxycodone, lorazepam, tramadol and adderall.
The search warrants were obtained after a several-monthlong investigation into the illegal sale of narcotics, according to the release.
