Registration for Safe Passage’s Walk a Mile in her Shoes fundraiser begins at 8:30 a.m. and the walk will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the Convocation Center. Participants, including men, will be walking one mile in high heels to raise awareness about sexual abuse and assault.

Walkers should bring their own shoes if possible, but a limited amount of men’s sized high heels will be available to borrow.

The cost is $30. This money along with any donations goes to Safe Passage, DeKalb County’s only rape crisis center.
