1. Remove top
Slowly and gently remove the metal top off a glass ball ornament. Be careful not to break it.
2. Add sequins and glitter
Choose the desired color combination of sequins and glitter. Then add the pour into the ornament. Gently shake the ornament around to mix up the sequins and glitter inside.
When the glitter and sequins are combined inside, the glitter will cling to the walls of the ornament and the sequins will sit on the bottom. This creates a dynamic effect inside the ornament.
For a different effect, add only glitter or only sequins.
3. Replace top
Using a hot glue gun, seal any holes in the metal top and fill the inside of the metal top.
Quickly place the metal top back onto the ornament before the glue can cool and press down on the top.
The metal top can stay on the ornament without the glue. The glue is meant to prevent the glitter and sequins from falling out of the ball.
Alternative options
The ornament can be filled with things besides sequins and glitter. Examples include confetti, fake snow or tiny toys.
The ornaments can be a decoration hung from a tree, placed in a bowl or basket on a table or hung from places such as a ceiling using fishing wire.
