A: S.O.A.S. is a custom apparel decorator specializing in embroidery and printing. No order is too small.

Q: How long have you been in business for?

A: 32 years

Q: Why did you decide to start the business?

A: In 1984 my family decided to purchase a sporting goods store by NIU’s campus. We sold everything from shoes to weight equipment. With the ever-changing box stores we decided that we wanted to specialize

A: $10 to $50.

Q: Why should NIU students and the DeKalb community visit your business?

A: We have wonderful customer service and a wide selection of apparel and decoration choices. In fact, we have the largest color selection and font selection in the area for both iron-on lettering and embroidery.

Q: What is your favorite product you sell?

A: Things we can be creative with.

Q: What is something unique about your business? 

A: We have just recently become officially licensed for several Greek houses. We are a small business that enjoys getting to know all of our customers and their needs.
