A silver car drove into Buffalo Wild Wings, 2466 Sycamore Road, around 6 p.m. today.

DeKalb Police and the DeKalb Fire Department responded to the incident and three people were injured, according to the DeKalb Scanner’s Facebook page.

The cars and a majority of the damage was cleaned up by at least 9 p.m.

Nickolas Stanley and Bradley Stanley, workers for Full Swing Construction, of Yorkville, both said they were called shortly after the crash to help administer the site’s clean up.

DeKalb locals went to see the scene of the crash throughout the evening, some went to eat and didn’t anticipate an incident at all.

“I came for 50 cent wings,” said Jon Shott, 44, of DeKalb. Shott said he wanted to watch the Cubs game with his friends and his brothers, who he brought with him to see the establishment closed due to the incident.

Kristy, 31, of DeKalb, and nail technician at Pro Nails in Sycamore, said she heard about the crash from one of her clients. She took her family after work to see what had happened.

Buffalo Wild Wings management declined a request to comment.
