First and Second-Year Experience will host the Storybook Project 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday through Oct. 26 in Altgeld Hall 100.

The Storybook Project is a children’s book fair where students can purchase a book for someone who is incarcerated. Inmates then record themselves reading the donated book and can then send it to their children or grandchildren.

People can also purchase a book for their own families and a portion of the proceeds will go to the Storybook Project.
