Fall brings many things – football, sweaters, crunchy leaves, and girl scout fall product sales. The Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois kicked off their sales online on Friday, Sept. 16 and will begin door-to-door sales Friday, Oct. 7 – both of these continue through Oct. 21.

There is much variety in products, with everything from returning fan-favorite snacks like dark chocolate caramel caps with sea salt, peanut butter bears, English butter toffee and candy fruit slices to gluten-free options including new Honey Roasted Mixed Nuts and Black Forest Trail Mix.

If food isn’t your thing, remember that the girl scouts also sell photo keepsakes, like photo books, calendars, cards and invitations as well as subscriptions to magazines and e-books.

Furthermore, if you don’t wish to buy any products at all, you can still help the Girl Scouts support Project Share by donating in $5 increments. A donation of just $5 provides one nut or candy item for a military service member. Four $5 donations will purchase them one magazine subscription.
