The Northern Star would like to clarify how the 459 programs were reviewed and placed on Page 1 of Volume 116, Issue 60, published Thursday. The task force reviewed and placed 459 programs, but 450 programs were accounted for in the academic and administrative categorization.

The task force deemed three programs to be too new to categorize in one of the five categories listed on Page 1, according to the academic task force report.

Six programs were categorized by combining the programs with other programs, thus the aforementioned programs did not appear accounted for in any category.

The Northern Star would like to correct the statement “Program Prioritization reports were released Monday, placing all academic and administrative programs in the five categories above.” This statement should be corrected to “Program Prioritization reports were released Monday, placing 456 academic and administrative programs in one of the five categories above.”
