Women’s tennis struggles to win games late in season

Women’s tennis (6-9, 1-2 MAC) played at the Boylan Tennis Center in Rockford for the last time this season Friday, losing to the University of Akron (13-6, 3-0 MAC) with a 7-0 score line.
Junior Adey Osabuohien came close to winning her No. 1 singles match, winning the first match but falling short in the following ones, keeping the Huskies from getting their lone win for the day.
NIU will play the University of Toledo at 1 p.m. Friday in Toledo, Ohio.
