Here is what NIU students are listening to on their playlists this week.

Keyana Payne, sophomore political science major, said her favorite song is “Say it” by Torey Lanez.

Payne said her favorite genre of music is hip-hop and R&B.

“It’s what I grew up with,” Payne said. 

Timi Adeboje, senior industrial management major, said his favorite song is “30 Hours” by Kanye West. 

“I like rap and R&B because the messages, lyrical content, along with the rhythm and melody — it creates a good feeling,” Adeboje said.

“My favorite genres are afro beats, hip-hop and gospel because of the drums and beats,” said senior kinesiology major Keisha Hekpo. “You can feel it and dance to it.”

Hekpo said her favorite song is “I’m Yours” by Jason Mraz.
