Campus Rec to hold Adaptive Sport Day

Campus Recreation will hold Adaptive Sport Day noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Student Recreation Center, main gymnasium.
This event is sponsored by the Great Lakes Adaptive Sport Association (GLASA) and supported by the Kishwaukee Special Recreation Association, according to an NIU news release.
Demos of Goalball, Beep Baseball and Chair Yoga will be given, as well as a demo of Wheelchair Basketball with Junior National Champions the Rockford Chariots.
There will be equipment for the public to try these sports, and participants are also welcome to bring their own equipment.
This event is free and open to the public.
