Women’s tennis won’t be participating in postseason play this year, but the stellar play of junior Adey Osabuohien this year earned her First Team All-MAC honors Wednesday.

The junior proved to be one of the top singles players throughout the conference all season, picking up a 16-3 record overall and a 5-1 record in singles matches against MAC opponents. She was the only member of the Huskies to make it to the team, and the fifth to make it in the history of the program.

“I’m very proud of Adey for receiving this recognition of First Team All-MAC,” said head coach Tanya Gombera. “She certainly had a great year and worked hard to achieve the success she had. She definitely deserves this award.”
