The deadline to apply for a 2015-16 Student Choice Award is 11:59 p.m. Friday, according to a Student Association flier.

The Student Choice Awards will be held 6:30 p.m. May 1 in the Altgeld Hall auditorium. Attire for the event is “creative black tie,” according to the flier. The event was created to recognize student leadership. The theme for the event is “Emerging Leaders: Leading the Pact.”
