Engage in a panel discussion about feminism and why NIU needs it. Participants can share their thoughts via Facebook with a chance to be featured in the Who Needs Feminism gallery.

The goal of this campaign is to challenge existing stereotypes surrounding feminists and emphasize the importance of feminism today.

Throughout the month of April, participants can post pictures of themselves with a sign or statement about why feminism is important to them. Topics can range from Women’s Rights, LGBTQ issues, gender roles, etc.

From 7:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Wirtz 101, join United by Diversity for a discussion on Who Needs Feminism.
