Mazepa said taking a shower after a possible assault is a bad idea. He advised to put clothes in plastic bags to help preserve evidence. Smith said NIU offers free RAD classes, of which she is an instructor, to help students develop ways of escaping and getting away from potential abduction and assault scenarios.
