Here’s what some NIU students had on their playlists this week.

Aaric Armstead, junior general studies major, said his favorite song right now is “Missed Calls” by DJ Khalil.

“I like most styles of music, but my go-to would have to be hip-hop because a lot of new artists are trying to integrate their music with other genres,” Armstead said.

“’Take Your Time’ by Sam Hunt is my favorite song,” said freshman psychology major Norma Ramirez. “My favorite music is country because it’s romantic without being too romantic.”

Sami Dellarocca, freshman human resource management major, said her favorite song is “When We Were Young” by Adele.

“Latin pop is my favorite type of music because it’s upbeat and fun,” Dellarocca said.
