The Anthropology Club, in collaboration with Green Paws Environmental Alliance, Committee for the Preservation of Wildlife, Southeast Asia Club and the NIU Student Association, will hold Palm [Turm]Oil from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday in Cole Hall, room 100.
The event is to inform students on the negative effects of plantation-style palm oil production and advocating for the sustainable production of palm oil, according to a flier.
The event is free to students and there will be food, music and a film provided at the event.Â
