TAILS to hold tropical fundraiser
February 11, 2016
TAILS Humane Society will hold its largest annual fundraiser, Tropical TAILS, on March 12 from 5:30-9:30 p.m. in the Holmes Student Center, Duke Ellington Ballroom.
There will be an open bar during the silent auction starting at 5:30 p.m. Tropical TAILS is an annual dinner and auction that provides essential support to fund TAIL’s shelter.
Their mission is to save the lives of companion animals through rescue, adoption and spay/neuter while advocating for pets, according to TAILS’ website.
Special guests include Chris Fleming, a medium and paranormal researcher with expertise in the field of hauntings, spirit communications, life after death and ESP. Fleming has appeared on TV shows such as “Larry King Live,” SyFy’s “Ghost Hunters,” Travel Channel’s “Ghost Adventures” and more. Fleming adopted one of his three cats from TAILS and has been a longtime supporter ever since, according to TAILS’ website. Guests will have the chance to bid on a one-on-one consultation with Fleming.
