Juan Vargas, 60, of DeKalb, was charged with distribution and possession of aggravated child pornography, among other charges, Thursday.

DeKalb Police conducted a search on Vargas’ home in connection to a child pornography investigation, which was discovered to be shared from November 23 to December 16, according to a DeKalb Police news release.

Police found child pornography on a computer that belonged to Vargas, according to the news release.

Vargas was also charged with distribution and possession of child pornography.

Vargas is being currently held in the DeKalb County Jail.
