Womanspace will sponsor Wild Woman Retreat from June 24-26 at the DeKoven Center in Racine, Wis.

The event will be held for women looking to drum and dance with other women in the community, meet other women and express creativity, according to a Womanspace news release.

“The energy is always fabulous,” said Womanspace program coordinator Cherie Heck.

Heck’s first time going to the retreat was in the early 2000s, said Heck.

The Right on the Bird Deadline to register for the retreat is from Feb. 2 to March 15: Single- $250/pp: Double-$225/pp: Triple-$225/pp.

The Bird Who Got the Last Worm deadline is from March 16- to May 1: Single-$275/pp: Double-$250/pp: Triple: 250/pp, according to a news release.

“I get away from my house but I think, you know, over the years I’ve gathered so many friends from this and just being able to meet new women and kind of connect with woman from around Rockford and around the area, and we’ve stayed friends for several years, so I just like it,” Heck said.
