School of Theatre and Dance’s “Red Noses” makes humor out of black plague
April 6, 2015
The School of Theatre and Dance will perform “Red Noses” at 7:30 p.m. April 6-11 at Huntley Middle School, 1515 S. Fourth St.
“Red Noses” was created by playwright Peter Barnes. The play is about the black plague but the story is presented as a comedy. The main character is a priest in France during the 1300s and the story follows his adventures as he travels around plague-ridden villages.
“It has a lot of people in it and most theatre productions find it too expensive to do because of that,” said director Alexander Gelman.
