Football’s Lemon charged with domestic battery
April 20, 2015
Football redshirt senior Rasheen “Rock” Lemon has been suspended indefinitely from the team.
Lemon, who is an outside linebacker, was charged with domestic battery on April 12. He was suspended immediately after the football program learned about the charges, said Donna Turner, associate athletic director for communications.
There is no timetable for Lemon’s return, Turner said.
Lemon proved himself to be one of the Huskies’ top defensive players in 2014. He ranked second on the Huskies in total tackles (90), quarterback hurries (six) and forced fumbles (two). He also added three tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks.
Lemon was suspended indefinitely after the second game of the 2013 season because of an academic issue. He wasn’t back on the Huskies’ roster until fall camp in August 2014.
