The Vegetarian Education Group will hold Food, Identity, and Politics: Lessons in Eating Green on April 19.

Rebecca Tuvel, a philosophy professor at Rhodes College, will speak about obstacles that can prevent people from pursuing a plant-based lifestyle. The lecture will take place 5-7 p.m. in Wirtz Hall, Room 101.

The event will be in honor of Earth Day, which will take place April 22.
