Style Section: Bright Headphones

Students showcase their style with statement headphones.

Check out how some NIU students and see how they wear their headphones below.


Junior communication major Victor Toth was listening to “Club Can’t Handle Me” by Flo Rida through his JBL earbuds.

“I like urban. It makes me feel cool, fresh,” Toth said of his style.


Tim Adeyingbo, sophomore industrial management and technology major, was listening to “Dead Presidents” by Jay-Z through his Earpollution headphones from Sears.

“I like creating my own style,” Adeyingbo said.


Paul Brandt, graduate sports management student, wore Beats headphones.

“I like Clemson so I like orange. This is my first pair and I’ve had them for three years,” Brandt said.


Sean Phelan, senior pre-physical therapy major, was listening to “I So Hate Consequences” by Reliant K through his Sennheiser headphones from Best Buy.

“I wear things that look nice on me,” Phelan said. “I’m not objective.”


Henry Espinoza, junior pre-physical therapy major, wears his Beats headphones.

“I just bought them because they looked cool,” Espinoza said.
