Pre-Veterinary Medicine Association will hold an informational wildlife event at 6 p.m. Wednesday in Montgomery Hall Auditorium.

The event will feature a presentation from the Oaken Acres Wildlife Center, 12140 Aldrich Road in Kingston. Members from the center will discuss the importance of local wildlife and will present a vulture and an owl.

Pre-Veterinary Medicine Association students will hand out volunteer packets for the audience members.

“We try to provide them opportunities through volunteering and guest speakers,” said Will Widick, president of the Pre-Veterinary Medicine Association. “We are trying to recruit as many people as we can, and get them to volunteer.”

This event is free and open to the public.
