Arctic air is set to leave DeKalb this weekend for everyone staying behind during Spring Break, according to an NIU weather forecast.

The arrival of Pacific air will bring with it a high of 30 degrees starting Saturday and a high of 40 degrees Monday through Wednesday.

While the warmer weather doesn’t mean there won’t be highs in the 20s on some days, it is unlikely for temperatures to reach subzero digits again, according to the forecast.
