SA elections: Turnout surpasses 2K by Wednesday morning

The Student Association had received more than 2,000 votes in the 2015 executive elections as of 11 a.m. Wednesday.

Election officials have said they hope to record 5,000 voters by the time voting ends 6 p.m. Wednesday. SA executive elections have seen a growing turnout, with 2,600 students voting in spring 2014, 1,500 in 2013, 750 in 2012 and 1,189 in 2011, according to a Feb. 12 Northern Star article.
