NIU UNICEF Campus Initiative will hold a screening of “The Concert for Bangladesh” at 7 p.m. March 19 in Cole Hall, Room 100.

The movie features performances from George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Ringo Starr, Billy Preston and Leon Russell. George Harrison put together the featured concert in 1971 in Bangladesh, said Matea Pejic, NIU UNICEF Campus Initiative president.

Entrance to the screening is free. Bake sale items, popcorn and soda can be purchased for $1 each. There will also be $1 raffle tickets for Beatles memorabilia.

All funds will go towards UNICEF and NIU UNICEF Campus Initiative’s 5K run in April, Pejic said.
