Men’s golf swings into action as it opens it spring season this weekend.

The Huskies head south to Humble, Texas, for the Bayou City Collegiate Championship. They will participate in the three-day event starting Friday and running through Sunday at the Redstone Golf Club.

The Huskies last took to the course Oct. 13 and 14 at the Sagamore Fall Preview in Noblesville, Ind. The Huskies took third place; it was their first top-three finish since they took second place Feb. 23, 2013, at the Forest Hills Collegiate in Augusta, Ga.
