Classes resumed at DeKalb High School after a natural gas leak outside of the building was sealed today.
The DeKalb fire department and Nicor Gas Company responded to a call at 10:51 A.M. for a possible natural gas leak at the high school, police said. Students, faculty and staff were evacuated, but the building is now ventilated and safe for classes to resume, said DeKalb Fire Chief Eric Hicks.
