A Chicago man has been arrested for shooting a gun while six to 10 women fought nearby.

At 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, Steven A. Williams, 24, of Chicago, was arrested for shooting once in the parking lot of 915 Spiros Court, said DeKalb Police Cmdr. John Petragallo.

A fight between two women began at the parking lot, eventually growing into a fight between six to 10 women, Petragallo said. Williams pulled up in a car and shot once into the air or ground and the fight broke up, Petragallo said. No one was injured.

Police arrived on the scene found Williams in his car, took possession of the gun and arrested him, Petragallo said.
