A man was robbed by two men and one woman who claimed they had a knife at about 8:50 p.m. Tuesday at the Red Roof Inn, 1212 W. Lincoln Highway, according to a safety bulletin.

The suspects took the man’s money before driving away, according to the safety bulletin. The victim was not injured.

One of the suspects is described as a Hispanic man who is 5-foot-8, weighs 180 pounds, has a medium build and was wearing a white shirt. Another suspect was described as a black woman with a thin build and curly hair. She was wearing black tights, according to the safety bulletin.

There is no description for the third suspect.

Police have provided additional foot patrols in the area and are asking that suspicious activity be reported to NIU at 815-753-1212 or DeKalb police at 815-748-8400.
