DeKalb Currency Exchange Inc, 1504 Sycamore Road, will close Friday.

Lesa LaVigne, an employee at the exchange for 15 years, said the closing is due to business “slowing down.” The nearest Currency Exchanges are in Elgin, Aurora and St. Charles, LaVigne said.

The Currency Exchange has been in DeKalb for 30 years.
