Q: What is your favorite memory at NIU?

A: We used to wrestle in the [Convocation Center] in like a showcase meet, and it was like up on a platform. It was against Michigan State a couple of years ago. I mean, that was fun; I won. I was like one of the only ones to win, so it was pretty cool.

Q: What will it take to get two wins this weekend?

A: I got a picture earlier of a fierce-looking tiger from my coach, and he told me that’s basically me the rest of the season throughout NCAAs. I really think it’s going to take just that – being a mean, fierce tiger ready to go take down some prey.

Q: How are you approaching your final home matches?

A: I’ve just been determined to have a really good week and basically just leave it all on the line because I’ve got nothing to lose the last couple meets of the season.

Q: What are your plans after graduation?

A: … I’m going to move out to California with my parents and probably just work for a little … I’ll basically be training for law school in the meantime while I’m working just to get myself ready for that. Then I’m going to apply to a bunch of law schools and try to get my law degree.

Q: What is your favorite memory at NIU?

A: There’s really no favorite memory since so many things have happened. We’ve just become like a huge family with these guys. It’s just crazy how, in four years, how close you can get to some people that you’ve never met.

Q: What will it take to get two wins this weekend?

A: Both of my guys have been in and out of the rankings, so it’s going to be two tough matches. Just going out there and wrestling my style, really, just getting to my shots, just my move and everything I’ve got.

Q: How are you approaching your final home matches?

A: Really just stay calm. Yeah, there’s going to be a lot of emotions out there Senior Night. Just stay focused, treat it like another match. Just got to go out there and wrestle.

Q: What are your plans after graduation?

A: I want to go back to my home town … Rockford and get the coaching spot at my old high school and just stay up to date with that program. I’ve wanted to do that since I was like in seventh or eighth grade, just come back to my town.
