An NIU meteorology alumnus has been shot and injured outside the TV station where he works in Waco, Texas.

Patrick Crawford received his bachelor’s of science in meteorology from NIU and works at KCEN-TV. People have taken to a Facebook page to wish him well.

Police are continuing to search for the shooter, according to the Waco Tribune. The newspaper has provided a stream of updates on its Twitter feed.
