Students can submit original artwork that may appear on NIU President Doug Baker’s holiday card.

Participants should feature the university during winter, holiday celebrations and general sensations surrounding the holidays, according to an NIU announcement. The art must be submitted online by Oct. 20.

Artists should consider the 5-by-7-inch format of a card and the artwork will be professionally photographed. Media in digital, photography, illustration, print, painting and drawing media will be accepted.

Winners will be announced Oct. 24, with the first-place winner receiving $500, the second- and third-place winners receiving $300 and the honorable mention recipient receiving $100.
