Citywide tornado siren controls are not working due to damage sustained from a lightning strike Friday.

The city is “anticipating a temporary solution soon, with a permanent repair pending,” according to a city news release. Everyone is encouraged to stay updated on weather conditions and use emergency radios that broadcast warnings about impending severe weather.
