Baseball swings into action with the fall portion of its schedule beginning this weekend.

The Huskies host the Ontario Blue Jays 2 p.m. Saturday at Ralph McKinzie Field.

The Blue Jays are an amateur baseball league from Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, that travels throughout the United States playing college teams in an effort to get their players in the academy placed with college programs, according to a news release.

The Huskies begin their Red & Black Series 11:30 a.m. Oct. 9 for Scout Day. They then play 1 p.m. Oct. 12, 11:30 a.m. Oct. 16, noon Oct. 19 and 11:30 a.m. Oct. 23 (if necessary).
