Police Report: Sept. 10 to 11

Wednesday

1. At 11:40 p.m. Sept. 4, criminal defacement of property was reported to have occurred at New Residence Hall West. This case was suspended Wednesday.

Thursday

2. At 7 p.m. Aug. 25, stalking was reported to have occurred at the Holmes Student Center. This case was declared unfounded Thursday.

3. At 9:16 a.m., Jalen Peacock, 20, of Chicago, was charged with aggravated domestic battery, interference with judicial procedure and unlawful restraint reported to have occurred at Neptune North.

4. At 8:19 a.m. Tuesday, theft $500 and under was reported to have occurred at 1115 W. Lincoln Highway. This case was opened Thursday.

5. At 12:01 p.m., Dajanee Tate, 19, of Chicago, was charged with an in-state warrant reported to have occurred at the NIU Police Station.

6. At 6 p.m. Wednesday, theft $500 and under was reported to have occurred at Neptune West. This case was opened Thursday.

7. At 6:50 p.m., battery was reported to have occurred at Lucinda Avenue and Normal Road. This case is open.

8. At 9 p.m., possession of cannabis 30 grams and under and possession of drug equipment were reported to have occurred at Stevenson North. This case was closed by exception.

9. At 9:50 p.m., possession of cannabis 30 grams and under was reported to have occurred at Stevenson North. This case was closed by exception.
