$117.8 million in taxes distributed

The DeKalb County Treasurer’s office made its real estate tax distribution Friday, according to a news release from County Treasurer Christine Johnson.

A little more than half of the $202,911,050 to be collected has been gathered and disbursed to government districts, schools and services.

Of the about $117,849,851 collected so far, funds have been distributed to:

• School districts: $70,109,287

• DeKalb County and Forest Preserve District: $13,276,049

• Cities and villages: $7,758,114

• Community colleges: $7,242,907

• TIF districts: $5,196,661

• Townships and township road and bridge districts: $4,996,750

• Park districts: $4,141,524

• Libraries: $2,562,589

• Fire districts: $2,483,610

• Drainage districts: $82,355
