Construction is being done on Normal road across from the Holmes Student Center Sunday. Bill Nicklas, vice president of operations and community relations, said a bicycle lane will be created to go from Annie Glidden Road to the east side of the Holmes Student Center on Normal Road. Nicklas said the Huskie Buses will be moved from the west to the east side of the Holmes Student Center to allow more protection from inclement weather. Lighting will also be added outside of the Holmes Student Center, Founders Memorial Library and the Martin Luther King Commons “to make those places magical at night,” Nicklas said.
