20K grants up for gardening groups

DeKalb County Community Gardens is asking locals to help it earn a $20,000 grant.
DeKalb County Community Gardens has applied for a grant from Seeds of Change Grant Program for an opportunity to receive one of two $20,000 or 15 $10,000 grants. The grants will be awarded to organizations that support and develop sustainable, community-based gardening and farming programs.
There are more than 600 projects around the U.S. participating in the grant competition.

People can vote once a day until April 21. After voting closes, the top 50 organizations with the most votes will move on to a final judging phase, after which the recipients will be announced on May 5.
