Police Reports: March 4-March 12

March 4

• At 10 p.m. March 2, assault was reported to have occurred in the Recreation Center. This case was closed by exception March 4.

• At 2:20 a.m., possession of cannabis 30 grams and under and possession of drug equipment were reported to have occurred at University Heights, 1120 Varsity Blvd. This case was closed by exception.

• At 2:30 a.m., battery and criminal damage to property were reported to have occurred in Stevenson South. This case is open.

• At 4:35 p.m., possession of cannabis 30 grams and under was reported to have occurred in Neptune North. This case is open.

March 5

• At 2:15 a.m. Feb. 23, theft $500 and under was reported to have occurred in New Residence Hall West. This case was closed by exception March 5.

• At 5:25 a.m. March 1, theft $500 and under was reported to have occurred in New Residence Hall West. This case was closed by exception on March 5.

• At 6:48 p.m., Malik Harris, 18, of Chicago, was charged with battery in the Recreation Center.

• At 11:30 p.m. March 4, criminal damage to property was reported to have occurred in Neptune West. This case was closed by exception on March 5.

March 6

• At 11:10 p.m. March 2, theft $500 and under was reported to have occurred in Founders Memorial Library. This case was suspended March 6.

• At 11 a.m. Feb. 23, theft of lost or mislaid property was reported to have occurred in Stevenson North. This case was closed by exception March 6.

• At noon March 3, credit card fraud was reported to have occurred. This case is under investigation.

• At 10 p.m., possession of cannabis 30 grams and under was reported to have occurred in Lot P. This case was closed by exception.

March 7

• At 5 p.m. Feb. 23, criminal trespass to state-supported land was reported to have occurred in Neptune Central. The case was closed by arrest March 7.

• At 12:50 a.m., illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor was reported to have occurred in Douglas Hall. This case was closed by exception.

• At 2:09 a.m., Anginette Jordan, 19, of Chicago, was charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor at Thirsty Liquors, 1039 W. Hillcrest Drive.

• At 2:10 a.m., illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor was reported to have occurred in Grant North. This case was closed by exception.

• At 3 p.m. March 5, theft $500 and under was reported to have occurred in Grant North. This case was closed by exception March 7.

March 8

• At 4:25 p.m. Feb. 27, theft $500 and under was reported to have occurred in the Recreation Center. This case was suspended March 8.

• At 1:16 a.m., possession of cannabis 30 grams and under was reported to have occurred in Stevenson North. This case was closed by exception.

Tuesday

• At 12:01 a.m. March 10, criminal defacement of property was reported to have occurred in Gabel Hall. This case remained open Tuesday.

• At 9 p.m. March 10, theft over $500 was reported to have occurred in Neptune Central. This case was declared unfounded Tuesday.

• At 11:59 p.m. March 10, criminal defacement of property was reported to have occurred in Neptune East. This case remained open Tuesday.

• At 3:30 a.m., criminal damage to property, criminal trespass to residence and illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor were reported to have occurred at 161 John St. This case was referred to another agency.

Wednesday

• At 4:03 p.m., Joshua Goodwin, 19, of Richton Park, was charged with driving with a suspended license in Lot 15E.
