There was a fire reported to have occurred at 8:47 p.m. Sunday at 8471 Country Lane.

There were no injuries, but most of the home was affected by either fire or water damage despite the efforts of the 46 firefighters who were on scene, according to a news release. According to the release, the first arriving units found a two-story residential home with heavy fire fully involving the second floor.

According to the release, a fire investigation is going on. Preliminary findings suggest the fire originated in the area of the chimney void space and the fire is considered accidental in nature.
