The Student Association has added buses for the winter weather.

Because of the low and frigid temperatures, more buses have been added to the schedule to get students to their intended destination quicker and to relieve some of the congested buses. An extra bus has been added to route 5 that will be listed as 5R and will run the reverse route from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday to Thursday. There was also another bus added to route 7 that will run from 2 to 6 p.m. on Fridays.

Joe Frascello, the director of mass Transit for SA and chairman of the mass transit board, said there will be enough funding to have the buses run for several weeks. Students can track the new buses on the Huskie Tracks website and mobile application.
